Customer Support Specialist

Remote - Full-Time

We are looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join our team to help support our customers and help them grow with us. The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter that learns fast, and has at least one year in a customer-facing role or relevant experience.

 

As a Customer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' success and satisfaction. You will be responsible for supporting existing customers with day-to-day questions and guiding new customers through the on-boarding process. Your goal will be to build strong, long-term relationships with our customers, driving their success and ultimately fostering customer retention and growth.

Bevz is a software and services (SaaS) platform for local, independently operated liquor/convenience stores. Over the past 35 years, our founding team has owned, operated, and consulted for local liquor stores and advised top alcohol and snack companies in the world – we know the industry, key players, and liquor store business really well, and have created the only customized platform designed to help liquor stores operate and grow their business.

 

Our vision is to transform the 100,000+ independent liquor stores across the nation with the technology, data, products, and support they need to compete against corporate chains, and create the largest network of liquor stores in the world.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Address both technical and account related questions and concerns over the phone

  • Educate customers on services and account

  • Use troubleshooting techniques and tools to identify the root cause of issues

  • Escalate inquiries and requests as necessary to the appropriate department 

  • Maintain excellent call logs and activity records

  • Conduct training sessions to educate customers on the features, functionality, and best practices of our platform

  • Strive to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty

  • Might be scheduled to be on-call during some weekends in peak seasons


Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer-facing or related experience 

  • Highly empathetic, takes time to understand customer pains, needs, and wants, and goes the extra mile to make sure customer issues are resolved as quickly as possible

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently

  • Highly organized, with the ability to keep track of multiple activities, moving parts, and quick company changes.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and deadlines.

  • Preferred: Experience with CRM Software such as HubSpot or Salesforce
