Sales Account Executive

Texas / New York / Florida / Georgia (Remote) - Sales - Full-Time

In this role, you will focus on finding and acquiring new Bevz retailer partners (convenience/liquor stores) in your territory. Following each sale, you will support and consult these Retailers to ensure that they are equipped with all necessary tools, knowledge and advice needed to operate successfully and become an advocate of Bevz.

Bevz is a software and services (SaaS) platform for local, independently operated liquor/convenience stores. Over the past 35 years, our founding team has owned, operated, and consulted for local liquor stores and advised top alcohol and snack companies in the world – we know the industry, key players, and liquor store business really well, and have created the only customized platform designed to help liquor stores operate and grow their business.


Our vision is to transform the 100,000+ independent liquor stores across the nation with the technology, data, and support they need to compete against corporate chains, and create the largest network of liquor stores in the world.

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Own your territories – cover target sales areas

  • Identify independent liquor/convenience stores and sign them up for our subscription offering

  • Support local stores on an ongoing basis to ensure they do not cancel their subscription

  • Meet with Sales & Account Management Leadership Team on a weekly basis to set goals, test strategies out, and get help with tough situations

  • Collaborate across the broader operations and marketing teams to work on liquor store acquisition in your territory

  • Explore and create unique sales/marketing plans to acquire more liquor stores

 

Account Management Duties:

  • Check status of stores on a monthly basis

  • Visit liquor stores in your territory in person as needed: Make sure store employees are trained on iPad and iPad is functioning properly

  • Note repeated store problems and issues, and strategize on how to fix them in a more permanent way, and collaborate with the operations team to track success and plan next steps

  • Talk with owners and employees about what Bevz can do better or differently (with iPad functionality, marketing materials, support, etc.), and relay pain-points to the operations and leadership team


Recommended Experience:

  • Sales – Experience selling an idea, product, or service to a client or customer

  • Marketing – Experience creating campaigns, events, or promotions

  • Comfortable using technology and software platforms like Microsoft Office, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, mobile apps, iPhones and iPads, etc.
