About the Recipe
Spreading the holiday cheer is a bit easier with a cup of eggnog

Ingredients
750 mL Basil Hayden Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
1 qt milk
1 qt heavy cream
2 dozen eggs
1.5 cups sugar
Nutmeg to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Separate eggs.
Step 2
Beat yolks until creamy.
Step 3
Whip sugar into yolks.
Step 4
Beat whites until they stand in peaks.
Add 1/2 cup additional sugar if desired.
Step 5
Add whites & Basil Hayden Bourbon Whiskey together.
Step 6
Beat Cream.
Step 7
Add cream & milk to mixture.
Step 8
Add nutmeg to taste.
Step 9
Garnish each cup with nutmeg.
