Product Account Manager

Greater Sacramento Area (Remote) - Partnerships - Full-Time

In this role, you will focus on developing the strategic implementation of the Lotte partnership for Bevz. You will work closely with Bevz and the Supplier brand to get restaurants, bars, liquor convenience stores, and grocery stores to purchase the brand’s products, starting exclusively with Lotte. Your territory will be located in Northern California until the end of 2022. This position requires a ton of driving from various retailer locations, so you must be comfortable on the road.

Over the past 35 years, our founding team has owned, operated, and consulted for local liquor stores and advised top alcohol and snack companies in the world – we know the industry, key players, and liquor store business really well, and have created the only customized platform designed to help liquor stores operate and grow their business.


Our vision is to transform the 100,000+ independent liquor stores across the nation with the technology, data, and support they need to compete against corporate chains, and create the largest network of liquor stores in the world.

Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with Bevz and the Supplier brand to get restaurants, bars, liquor convenience stores, and grocery stores to purchase the brand’s products, starting exclusively with Lotte

  • Develop and implement all programming, both within the distributor and at the account level in Northern California

  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals in partnership with Bevz, and set a clear plan to achieve them – aligned with pre-determined goals and milestones presented to Lotte

  • Manage budget provided by Bevz for each market to ensure that we stay within the parameters of our contractual obligation and that desired goals are achieved – adhere to all budget guidelines

  • Communicate with Bevz team or SoCal Lotte team on any sales decks or materials needed for presentations, or any additional tools needed to assist you

  • Conduct sales meetings with distributor teams (RNDC for Lotte) and document all relevant information (i.e. samples or POS)

  • Develop target lists of accounts to focus on for brand awareness

  • Work with distributor to create effective sales team incentive programs (both on-premise and off-premise)

  • Work with company sales team members to track progress and ensure milestones are reached

  • During in-field visits to potential accounts, effectively promote/educate these retailers on the Bevz offering

  • Use Salesforce (potentially other programs down the line) consistently to track data and communication with retailers, while also inputting warm leads from visits for Bevz sales team to follow up

  • Use Salesforce to input contacts, sales and any notes regarding Soonhari during your store vists; reporting number of stores and information regarding these stores

  • Bi-weekly meetings with Bevz to provide updates on progress, and weekly meetings with Head of Partnerships & Business Development & Chief Customer Officer to ensure alignment with brand’s contractual obligations

  • Secure and attend alcohol/retailer related events related to the alcohol industry (i.e. golf tournaments, retailer showcases and tradeshows etc.)


Recommended Experience:

  • Knowledge of the Three Tier system – any experience working with RNDC, SGWS or other alcohol or snack brand distributors is a huge plus and puts you at the top of our candidate list

  • Sales – Any experience selling an idea, product, or service to a client or customer

  • Marketing – Any experience creating campaigns, events, or promotions

  • Comfortable using technology and software platforms like Microsoft Office, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, mobile apps, iPhones and iPads, etc

  • Communication – Strong verbal communication skills

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $75,000 - 90,000 base + bonuses based on number of Accounts ordered

  • Equity: Strong equity package at the earliest stage of a startup
